ElectroTechCP™ ERE 20 Reference Electrode

ElectroTechCP™ ERE 20 Reference Electrode
Reliable corrosion monitoring for reinforced concrete cathodic protection systems

The ElectroTech™ ERE 20 is a long-life reference electrode engineered for monitoring and verifying the effectiveness of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) systems in reinforced concrete structures. Built to withstand harsh environments, the ERE 20 provides stable and accurate measurements of corrosion potential, helping engineers maintain structural durability and safety over time.
Key Features
-
Long Service Life: Packed with a high volume of alkaline gel electrolyte to ensure years of stable performance.
-
Built for Harsh Environments: Resilient to chloride exposure, carbonation, and changing concrete chemistry—ideal for marine, coastal, and deicing environments.
-
Simple Installation: Can be gently embedded into both new and existing concrete structures. The cement-based ion exchange membrane ensures strong compatibility with concrete.
-
Remote Monitoring Capabilities: Supports data logging and remote system surveillance via modem or GSM network.
-
Accurate Corrosion Measurement: Measures potential difference between embedded reinforcement and the reference cell using a handheld voltmeter or data logger.
-
Standards Compliant: Suitable for ICCP system monitoring in accordance with EN 12696 (Cathodic Protection of Steel in Concrete).
