Vectrode® SM-ICCP
The Vectrode® SM-ICCP is a surface-mounted impressed current cathodic protection system designed to deliver ICCP performance in areas where access constraints or low cover make traditional embedded systems difficult to install. Using a mixed-metal-oxide ribbon housed in a protective surface-mounted casing, SM-ICCP installs quickly on existing concrete with minimal demolition.

Introducing: Current Regulating Technology
The SM-ICCP features a built-in current regulator which automatically manages output to keep the system balanced, efficient, and stable over the long term.
It’s an ideal solution for bridges, parking facilities, and other critical assets where high-risk members such as beams, columns, and soffits require reliable, global corrosion protection.

Features and Benefits
- Proven approach: builds on the same surface-mounted design as SM-DAS, enhanced with ICCP capability for structures requiring controlled, global cathodic protection.
- Long-term corrosion control: ICCP design delivers stable, controllable protection to meet long-term service life criteria and objectives.
- Fast installation: surface-mounted assembly installs quickly with minimal demolition.
- Cost effective solution: minimizes demolition, labour, and downtime.
- Integrated current regulator: automatically controls output to prevent current dumping and reduce long-term maintenance requirements.
- Performance you can confirm: easily integrated with standard ICCP power supplies and StructureView® remote monitoring systems for verifiable performance.
- Accessible design: accessible surface-mounted configuration supports inspection, testing, and future replacement if required.

Applications
- Slab soffit
- Concrete tanks
- Hollow-core slabs
- Piers and wharfs
- Power and industrial facilities
- Thin or shallow-cover members
- Double-T beams
- Severe chloride or carbonation exposure
- Large areas needing global, adjustable ICCP current
