    Vector Galvashield® XP

    Prestressed Concrete Girder Rehabilitation Southern Ontario

    Project Description:
    Leaking joints between the prestressed double tee deck panels were the cause of chloride penetration to the prestressed concrete girders.

    Project Solution:
    As part of the rehabilitation of the corroding girders, and to reduce premature failure of the beam ends, Galvashield® XP anodes were installed in addition to epoxy-coating the exposed rebar within the repair areas.
