Vector Corrosion Technologies  is a member of the Vector Construction Group (www.vectorgroup.com), a group of companies specializing in the restoration and protection of concrete structures worldwide. Vector’s specialized restoration expertise has been developed from 40⁺ years of working closely with owners, and consultants to investigate and develop rehabilitation strategies.

In the mid 1980’s, Vector became involved in the installation, monitoring, and testing of cathodic protection systems including the largest vertical and overhead (pier and beam) cathodic protection project completed in Canada.  In the late 1980’s and throughout the 1990’s, Vector played an important role in the research and implementation of the Electrochemical Chloride Extraction technology evaluated under the FHWA Strategic Highway Research Program.

In the late 1990’s Vector Corrosion Technologies involvement in the development of galvanic protection systems for reinforced concrete structures began with the introduction of the Galvashield and later the Galvanode product range.  In 2009, Vector acquired the electrochemical corrosion mitigation rights and assets from Fosroc International including the Norcure and Galvashield technologies.  Today, Vector provides the widest range of products and services for the investigation and mitigation of corrosion in reinforced concrete structures in the Americas.

Vector’s corrosion projects vary from site surveys and corrosion testing to full scale design and installation of corrosion protection systems for major infrastructure. Vector provides these services with a highly capable and trained staff.  Included on our team are Professional Engineers and Engineering Technologists.  Most of our technical staff holds cathodic protection certifications from the National Association of Corrosion Engineers.  Vector also has in-house Cathodic Protection Specialists, the highest certification available from NACE.
