ASLAN FRP Rebar

Vector Corrosion Technologies is pleased to announce that we are now the distributor for Aslan FRP Rebars, Carbon Fiber Tape, and FRP Dowels for Canada.

Aslan FRP rebars are Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber Rebars for use in reinforced concrete construction. The FRP Rebars are impervious to the attack of chloride inons and also ideal for situations where a non-conductive reinforcing is required, such as MRI rooms and high voltage facilities.

The Aslan Reinforcing comes in several types:

  • Aslan 100 Fiberglass Rebar, 4 times as strong as steel.
  • Aslan 200 Carbon Fiber Rebar, 10 times as strong as steel and nearly as stiff.
  • Aslan 500 Carbon Fiber Tape, for embedding in concrete and masonry.
  • Aslan 600 Fiberglass Dowels, for highway and other joint construction.

    The Aslan FRP Rebar is manufactured by Hughes Brothers and has been used in a variety of applications since 1996. Some of the applications have been:
