Vector Corrosion Technologies Completes Acquisition of

Electrochemical Products Business from Fosroc International

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA – January 29, 2009 – Vector Corrosion Technologies (Vector) and Fosroc International (Fosroc) announced today the companies have finalized an agreement for Vector to acquire the electrochemical business assets and elements of Fosroc Corrosion Solutions from Fosroc. Terms of the transaction between the privately held companies were not disclosed.

Fosroc is recognized as a leading provider of innovative products and services for mitigating corrosion in reinforced concrete structures. The acquisition includes the Galvashield® range of galvanic protection products and the established Norcure® process for electrochemically treating chloride-contaminated and carbonated structures.

Vector and Fosroc have had an on-going business relationship for more than 10 years developing, manufacturing and selling concrete corrosion mitigation products and services.

The purchase agreement provides for Fosroc to continue meeting its commitments to customers and projects by continuing to supply the products during the transition period.
